Design and Optimization of Cr4+:Y3Al5O12 Double-Clad Crystal Fiber Laser

Abstract: We report the design of a room-temperature (RT), continuous-wave (cw) Cr 4þ :Y 3 Al 5 O 12 (Cr 4þ :YAG) double-clad crystal fiber (DCF) laser grown by a codrawing laser-heated pedestal growth technique using a steady-state lumped model with a Lagrange multiplier optimization method.
