Design and optimization of an electromechanical actuator for the latch of a foldable vehicle seat

Abstract: This paper deals with the electromechanical actuator (EAct) design for a seat latch while maintaining required force and displacement according to the boundary conditions and design criteria for the finite element method (FEM) in an Ansys Maxwell environment.
