Design and optimization of a novel pneumatic magnetic separator based on multi-physical field coupling simulation

Abstract: A new type of pneumatic magnetic separator is designed in this study. The Dry Magnetic Separation Process (DMSP) is enhanced by introducing a horizontal airflow in the opposite direction to the magnetic force, and the recovery of aim minerals in the intergrowth particles is ensured by setting three recovery zones.
