Abstract:One of the main advantages of optical communication is its potential to transmit messages through the same channel via multiplexing. The concept of Mode Division Multiplexing (MDM) technology was first suggested to the telecommunication industries as a substantial solution to decrease the cost per bit of optical fiber transmission.
