Design and In-silico Molecular Docking of NMDA NR2B Receptor Antagonist and Pharmacokinetic Prediction of Some Piperazine Sulfonyl Amine Derivatives for Alzheimer’s Disease

Abstract: Alzheimer's disease is a rare and progressive neurologic disease caused by degeneration of neurons within the brain that causes the brain to shrink (atrophy) and brain cells to die. In the US, approximately 5.5 million people are affected, and the prevalence worldwide is estimated to be as high as 24 million. Treatment is available to reduce the symptoms but no permanent cure.
