This article explored the design and implementation problems of Sustainability Assessment Data Warehouse for Shanghai Airport. According to the characteristics of Shanghai airport, the airport data collection platform layer and six theme databases were designed in this paper. This paper also designed the operator assessment models and the user evaluation models, which strong guaranteed and supported the validity of the evaluation of sustainable development at the airport.

In this paper, we present the theory and methods which implement the rapid web publication of spatial data based on WebGIS system using ArcGIS and other open-source software. The original spatial data is configured and landscaped by ArcMap or ArclMS Author, to generate MXD or AXL files. Subsequently, corresponding map service could be easily created by ArclMS Administrator. And then, some programming work is carried out to build hierarchical map tiles, and further to achieve the organization and managem�nt.The key technologies include coordinate conversion, map tiles generation based on Java program, storage strategy based on five-level directory, and management platform based on web application. Finally, the map tiles would be rapidly and seamlessly published in web pages. The method is successfully applied in our research projects, which are demonstrated in the last section of the paper.
