Design and Implementation of monitoring and Management System for Discrete Manufacturing Process Based on IOT Technology

Abstract: Abstract-For active perception of multi-source information, coupling of heterogeneous information, and effective integration of manufacturing information and knowledge layer, this paper proposed some key technologies and a new implementation framework. The RFID and other sensing technologies were used to acquire the multi-source heterogeneous information. It developed a monitoring and management system for discrete manufacturing process, based on the Internet of Things. The main function modules of the system … Show more

“…Additionally, the literature underscores the importance of affordable artificial intelligenceassisted machine supervision systems for small and medium-sized manufacturers to reduce labor costs and enhance energy efficiency in smart manufacturing . Real-time monitoring of manufacturing processes using a single sensor is acknowledged as a significant challenge (Kannatey-Asibu et al, 2017), alongside the necessity for effective control, scheduling, and real-time monitoring in discrete manufacturing processes (Lu & Sheng, 2015). Moreover, the development of performance evaluation tools utilizing real-time supply information is deemed crucial for intelligent manufacturing systems (Allon & Mieghem, 2010).…”
