Mechanical Manufacturing Technology' course is a compulsory course for mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation, mechanical and electronic engineering and other related majors. It takes mechanical manufacturing as the main line. The course content integrates a number of theoretical and practical knowledge, involving the processing and assembly of new materials, new processes and new equipment, the detection of mechanical parts, the types and selection of tools, and the selection of fixtures. The course is closely related to engineering practice and has certain challenges for teachers. In teaching, it is necessary to constantly update the course content to meet the needs of society and the times. Based on the teaching law and course outline of applicationoriented undergraduate education, this paper proposes to establish a course resource library of mechanical design and manufacturing, so as to promote the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching, integrate existing course resources, take the actual work tasks of enterprises as the guide, carry out course development and design according to the project-based teaching mode, provide teachers and students with various multimedia teaching resources, cultivate students ' autonomous learning ability, and comprehensively improve the teaching quality.

Purpose This study aims to evaluate the current situation of the interlibrary loan in Türkiye using interlibrary loan tracking system raw data (2008–2019). Data was analyzed geographically to reveal the effect of geographical distance on the collaboration and thematically to identify the prominent areas/topics in the requests. In addition, the requests were evaluated in terms of the type and age of the university, the size of the collection and the number of library users. Design/methodology/approach The effect of geographical distance on the collaboration was revealed using VOSviewer. The place numbers and titles of the requests were used for thematic analysis, which was performed using Flourish and VOSviewer. Statistical tests were conducted with SPSS to investigate the effects of factors such as university age and type. Findings Geographic analysis revealed that the prominent regions are Marmara, Central Anatolia and Aegean Regions, respectively. The fact that these regions host Türkiye’s largest cities with the highest number of universities has been effective in achieving this result. The results of the thematic analysis are in accordance with the literature. Almost half of the requests are from Social Sciences, Language and Literature, History and Law. While the effects of collection size and the number of library users have relatively insignificant effects on requests, age and university type were found to be more relevant. Originality/value Interlibrary loan data of this size has not been the subject of an evaluation before in Türkiye. Hence, the results obtained have the potential to influence relevant policies and decisions on the subject. On the other hand, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, bibliographic mapping was used for the first time on interlibrary loan data.

This study explores the application of extensive data analysis to library information resources, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of resource utilization and user satisfaction through personalized recommendation services. We employ cluster analysis algorithms, and least squares support vector machines to model library users’ borrowing behaviors. Additionally, we use the Apriori algorithm and collaborative filtering to recommend books effectively. This study’s experimental outcomes show a notable 11.36% increase in the index of network resource demand satisfaction, indicating a significant enhancement in the library’s ability to meet resource update demands. The adoption of big data analytics has been instrumental in advancing library information management and expanding extensive data services. The findings underscore the pivotal role of big data in enhancing the efficiency of information resource utilization and elevating user satisfaction, mainly through personalized recommendations.
