Forest industry plays a critical role for many remote rural regions in Nordic countries. Despite the increasing number of various digital transformation initiatives, many forestry organizations still use very tra-ditional non-digitalized work practices in harvesting, logging and support operations. Unfortunately, digital transformation is often performed as an ad hoc activity without a holistic approach to ensure ICT quality con-trol. In this paper, we aim to answer the research problem how digital transformation affects the quality of a forest machine operator's opera-tional processes and service systems. A case study research method with a single case structure was used in this study. The main contribution of the paper is to show that digital transformation shall bene t not only the for-est machine operator organization but also their surrounding ecosystem by increasing transparency of operations, reducing travel costs, increasing productivity and creating a more proactive operating model. Both sociological and technical aspects of digital transformation are discussed in the context of forest service management. Additionally, we show that in order to succeed in digital transformation, forestry organizations must pay attention to various quality aspects holistically: hardware quality, software quality, service quality, data quality and process/project quality. IntroductionDigital innovations are changing the way how companies operate their business processes. In forestry, forest machinery utilizes the latest technology compo-nents, such as wireless sensors for counting tree length, Arti cial Intelligence, robotics and high-quality information systems and data network components. However, the rest of the industry operates with traditional working practices that are based on processing large amounts of unstructural data: email, phone calls, SMS messages and messaging apps.Various types of ICT quality issues may result in barriers for digital transformation of forestry processes. Forestry systems may lack well de ned application programming interfaces (APIs), causing poor interoperability and higher integration costs. They may also lack some important features which result in challenges in supporting business processes adequately. Furthermore, these systems were typically not designed to cater needs of the modern data economy and data ecosystems. Thus, there are numerous opportunities for improvement in the forestry domain through digital transformation. This paper extends the study of J¨antti and Aho (2022) by discussing ICT qual-ity aspects of digital transformation in a forest machine operator company and presenting our ndings as a socio-technical system that addresses both sociological and technical dimensions of digital transformation.In order to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), micro-enterprises and startups in digital transformation efforts, some regions have launched Digital Innovation Hubs. Forest environment monitoring is essential for natural resource management. The development of sensors using across forests enables for the collection massive volumes of data due to technological improvements in the sensor network. Raspberry Pi, a flexible and inexpensive single-board computer, is at the main of the system, connecting and interfacing with the many sensors spread throughout the system. Sensors such as this can collect crucial information about the forest's environment, such as the weather, humidity, and temperature. Data from various sensors can be acquired and processed in real-time due to Raspberry Pi's role as a data collection device. The system uses cloud-based services to overcome the limitations of onpremises data processing and storage. A fusion technique on the cloud platform combines and analyzes data from various sensors after receiving transmissions from Raspberry Pi. The cloud service provides a location for live monitoring and other visualization which greatly help data in real-time. These visuals can be accessed remotely, allowing users to access the forest from any location. Improved comprehension and control of forest environments are possible because of the combination of various technologies for collecting, analyzing, and evaluating sensor data.

Oyster mushrooms can usually be found in the forest and grow on rotten logs with temperatures ranging from 21-28℃. The farmers are used the feeling method to measure the range of air temperature in the oyster mushroom cultivation area so that faced the difficulty for controlling the temperature conventionally. This research describes an intelligent device to regulate the air temperature automatically using Peltier TEC-1 12706, which was assisted with ice cubes and aluminum water blocks as cool temperatures automatically online and in real-time. The online system uses the Wi-Fi module type ESP8266-01, and the reading result converts to the digital number as the mobile application shown on the LCD display. Data storage on things speak as a cloud. This research indicates that the level of accuracy of this system compared with similar measuring devices on the market has a standard deviation of error of 0.21 from the total of 30 data in a 1-hour trial. This research was compared with the conventional product (HTC-2) for knowing the sensor accuracy. The experiment result indicated that the sensor accuracy was 93.7%. SHT31 sensor as temperature sensor proved capable to monitor and automatic oyster mushrooms temperature.
