<span lang="EN-US">This paper presents a very alarming forecasts about our future and particularly for a medium and long-term future. That is to say, several actions are being carried out by different civil and state parties to deal with these very concrete threats. And it is within this framework that this paper fits, and its objective is to highlight the hybrid systems and more precisely the photovoltaic-wind hybrid systems coupled with storage batteries, as an efficient alternative to the classical means of electricity production. This work will adopt a method of obtaining results called performance evaluation, so this manuscript will present firstly the mathematical model of this hybrid system to best conceive what it is about, then as second part will determine the exact figures of the largest amount of carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) that can be avoided using this technology and following a precise methodology, this can be applied to our situation, i.e., a simple house or to any other type of installation.</span>

SummaryIn a PV array, the power‐voltage characteristic (P‐V) and output power are completely dependent on atmospheric conditions. Consequently, the P‐V curve's maximum power point (MPP) likewise changes significantly. This abrupt oscillation in the MPP may be caused by the PV panel being uniformly or partially shaded by trees, buildings, raindrops, and clouds. However, in both circumstances, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) turns into a highly nonlinear issue with a time‐bounded solution. The unpredictable weather circumstances change P‐V characteristics after every short time interval. Therefore, this research presents a hybrid two‐stage adaptive MPPT to overcome the environmental uncertainties. The first stage is MPPT control block for determining reference voltage for each MPP and the second stage is modified model reference adaptive controller (MMRAC) block fine‐tunes converter duty cycle to maintain MPP of PV panel. The probabilistic evaluation is executed through four distinct levels of uncertainty, including stand‐alone, partially‐shaded, grid integration, and OPAL‐RT to examine the system robustness in diverse scenario. The possibility of the tracking failure caused by dynamic irradiance change is also verified. Moreover, efficiency, tracking ability, power loss, ripple, and error rate are compared with the state‐of‐the‐art strategies, that is, ANFIS, INC, P&O, and VSPO. The satisfactory performances of the new strategy under simultaneously varying irradiance, temperature, and load; partially shaded and grid integration shows the supremacy.

Due to its effectiveness and affordability, solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems are now being employed more and more in many application systems. The biggest challenge is still getting the most energy out from PV panels in a variety of climatic situations. In order to achieve the maximum energy production, several optimization-based MPPT controlling techniques have been developed in traditional works. However, it has significant issues with low convergence, computational complexity, a long time needed to find the best solution, and inefficiency. As a result, the goal of this research is to implement a novel and hybrid optimization technique, named as, Prairie Dog Optimization Algorithm (PDOA) + Mongoose Optimization (MO) for extracting the highest possible energy from PV panels. The original contribution of this work is to incorporate the functions of two different and recently developed optimization techniques for MPPT controlling. For this purpose, the PDOA and MO algorithms are taken into account, and the hybridized PDOA+MO provides the benefits of fast convergence, increased tracking efficiency, and reduced tracking time. The high gain Luo DC-DC converter is also used to increase PV's output power and voltage while minimising switching and conduction losses. Consequently, the voltage source inverter is used to suppress the level of harmonics for providing the quality improved AC output to the grid system. The suggested PDOA+MO algorithm's effectiveness and power tracking performance are validated through a thorough simulation analysis using a variety of parameters.
