The article discusses the results of a study of the technological process of forming aluminum alloys in electric resistance mixers using the developed mathematical model and the “Alyuminshchik” software package, designed to find the optimal mixing option for the initial raw aluminum, considering the additives of master alloys and fluxes when obtaining a given chemical composition of the alloy. To check the adequacy of the mathematical model, a comparative analysis of actual and model data was carried out. The actual data was taken from 250 melting certificates sold at JSC RUSAL Novokuznetsk. The relative error of the model was calculated as the ratio of the standard deviation of the actual aluminum content, the main component of the melt, from that calculated by the model to the average value of the actual aluminum content. The calculation results showed that the model error does not exceed the measurement error of the chemical composition of aluminum melt. Also, using a mathematical model, optimization tools and the “Alyuminshchik” software package, studies of the technological process of aluminum formation in a mixer were carried out taking into account the mixing of the melt. Аn example of the dynamics of changes in the concentrations of the components of the formed melt of the AL-6 brand is given when raw aluminum is added from the foundry ladles to the mixer at specified time intervals τ.
