Design and Feasibility Verification of 6G Wireless Communication Systems with State of the Art Technologies

Abstract: Frequencies above 100 GHz are the promising frequency bands for 6G wireless communication systems because of the abundant unexplored and unused spectrum. The increasing global demand for ultra-high spectral efficiencies, data rates, speeds and bandwidths in next-generation wireless networks motivates the exploration of peak capabilities of massive MIMO (Multi–Input–Multi–Output) wireless access technology at THz bands (0.1–10 THz). The smaller wavelengths (order of microns) of these frequencies give an advanta… Show more

“…Thus, new technologies should be considered. Recently, index modulation (IM) in the spatial domain, which is based on multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) techniques, has been considered for the implementation of sixth-generation networks [3,4]. In the IM, part of the information is implicitly embedded into the transmitted signal.…”

“…The success of 5G installations and operations in recent years has prompted academics to look towards 6G, and initiatives are underway in a variety of nations and businesses 2–4 . The International Telecommunication Union has formed a future technological development committee called Network 2030 to investigate futuristic uses in communication 5 . The bandwidth used by 2G to 4G is up to 6 GHz, whereas 5G uses 24–100 GHz.…”
