Design and experimental study of a fiber bragg grating chirped tuning method

Abstract: In this article, fiber Bragg grating chirped tuning method is theoretically and experimentally demonstrated. Using a double‐arched structure and a metal diaphragm, a vertical pressure can be transmitted to grating. According to different metal diaphragm shapes and grating pasted paths, by changing the pressure, fiber grating spectrum chirped tuning can be achieved.
