Abstract:Two new species of the genus Tarsonemus Canestrini and Fanzago, 1877 (Acari: Heterostigmatina: Tarsonemidae) named as Tarsonemus dakshinbharaticus Karmakar and Kayal sp. n. and Tarsonemus sertum Karmakar and Kayal sp. n. are described based on the specimens collected on the leaves of Mimusops elengi L. (Sapotaceae), Syzygium cumini (L.) (Myrtaceae) and Psidium guajava L. (Myrtaceae) and from Bengaluru, Karnataka situated in the Southern Plateau and Hill Region, India.
