Description of three new species of Geostiba Thomson, 1858 (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae) from central western Anatolia

Abstract: As result of faunistic studies from Afyonkarahisar province in central western Anatolia, three new species of the subgenus Tropogastrosipalia Scheerpeltz belonging to the genus Geostiba Thomson are described and illustrated: Geostiba ahirensis sp. nov. (Ahır Dağları), G. sandiklica sp. nov. (Sandıklı Dağı), and G. karakusensis sp. nov. (Karakuş Dağları). A key is presented for distinguishing the new species from related congeners and a map shows the distributions of seven species.
