Description of the life stages ofHarpyrhynchoides rubeculinus(Cerny and Sixl, 1971) (Prostigmata: Harpirhynchidae)

Abstract: The external morphology of all postembryonic instars of the harpirhynchid mite Harpyrhynchoides rubecutinus (Cerny and Sixl, 1971) (Acari: Prostigmata: Harpirhynchidae) parasitizing the European robin, Erithacus rubecula (L.) (Passeriformes: Muscicapidae), in the Czech Republic is described and figured in detail.
