Descripción de una nueva especie del grupo Drosophila tripunctata (Diptera: Drosophilidae) en Cruz Loma, Pichincha, Ecuador

Abstract: Se realizó un muestreo a lo largo de la Quebrada de Cruz Loma, un remanente de Bosque Andino ecuatoriano, situada entre los 3100 y los 4000 m de altitud. Se capturaron 718 individuos del género Drosophila, entre ellos a una nueva especie miembro del grupo de especies de Drosophila tripunctata: Drosophila condorhuachana sp. nov. Con esta nueva especie el número de especies del grupo de D. tripunctata registradas en el Ecuador asciende a 22.
