ABSTRACT. Description of the tadpole of Physalaemus cicada (Anura, Leiuperidae). The tadpole of Physalaemus cicada Bokermann, 1966 is described with base in specimens obtained through a spawning collected in a temporary pond in Fazenda Olho D'água, municipality of São João do Cariri, state of Paraiba, Brazil.
