DESCRICAO ANATOMICA DOS SEGMENTOS ARTERIAIS DO RIM DE MAO-PELADA (Procyon cancrivorus)

Abstract

ResumoO mão-pelada é um animal de porte médio, cauda longa, amarelada com ponta negra e ornada, apresentando de cinco a dez anéis escuros e amarelados. Habitam em florestas equatoriais e tropicais, sempre próximo a rios, brejos, pântanos e mangues. Utilizaram-se dois exemplares de Procyon cancrivorus, mortos por acidente e, posteriormente, encaminhados ao Laboratório de Anatomia da UFG, campus Jataí, onde a partir das artérias renais foram dissecados os segmentos arteriais com auxílio de um microscópio estereoscópico. Como resultado visualizou-se as artérias renais sempre únicas, bifurcando-se em segmentos dorsais e ventrais, subdividindo em segmentos ventrocranial, ventromédiocranial, ventromédio, ventromédiocaudal, ventrocaudal, dorsocranial, dorsomédiocranial, dorsomédio, dorsomédiocaudal e dorsocaudal igualmente observados em coelhos, cutia, javali e ovinos. Este estudo apresentou um padrão de distribuição arterial igualmente identificado nos rins direitos quanto nos rins esquerdos, o local de penetração das artérias renais coincidem com os achados em camundongos e diferem do rato, hamster dourado e cutia. De acordo com a distribuição e arranjo, a morfologia renal do Procyon cancrivorus é similar à encontrada em animais domésticos e silvestres. O reconhecimento dos ramos arteriais renais apresenta grande relevância tanto para o caso de intervenções cirúrgicas quanto para investigações futuras, que auxiliem o conhecimento sobre essa espécie.
