Descending necrotizing mediastinitis caused by Streptococcus constellatus: A case report and review of the literature

Abstract: Rationale: Descending necrotizing mediastinitis (DNM) is a rare but severe mediastinal infection. If not diagnosed and treated promptly, the consequences can be very serious.
