Desarrollo de plantas micropropagadas de Agave americana var. Oaxacensis durante su aclimatización en invernadero

Abstract: Agave americana var. Oaxacensis Gentry es una especie longeva que tarda aproximadamente 20 años en llegar a su etapa reproductiva. En Oaxaca, México, esta especie se usa como materia prima para elaborar la bebida destilada mezcal. Para incrementar el área de cultivo con esta especie, se propone propagarla in vitro, en complemento a los métodos de propagación convencionales.
