Abstract:Groin hernias are the commonest abdominal wall hernias; these hernias are known to develop various complications. Strangulation is a serious and life-threatening complication. Various surgical procedures like primary tissue repair, mesh repair, keep open with secondary repair, etc. are in practice for strangulated groin hernias.
