Desafios Para O Processo De Transferência De Tecnologia Na Universidade De Brasília

Abstract

RESUMOA transferência de tecnologia é uma das formas de se estabelecer parcerias entre universidades e empresas em um modelo de inovação aberta, porém desafiadora para ambos os atores. Do ponto de vista da universidade pública brasileira, o presente artigo teve como objetivo apresentar um relato de transferências de tecnologias realizados pelo Núcleo de Inovação Tecnológica da Universidade de Brasília (NIT/UnB) levando em consideração os desafios enfrentados durante o processo. A metodologia utilizada foi a qualitativa, com caráter descritivo, com foco em 10 casos de licenciamentos. Foi realizada uma entrevista semi-estruturada e uma análise SWOT que retrataram as principais forças, oportunidades, fraquezas e ameaças identificadas ao longo do processo. Ao final do estudo, um diagnóstico foi elaborado seguido de recomendações que impactarão positivamente nos fluxos de licenciamentos e na reestruturação da política de inovação da Universidade de Brasília.Palavras-chave: Universidade de Brasília. CHALLENGES FOR THE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROCESS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRASÍLIA ABSTRACTTechnology transfer is one way of establishing partnerships between universities and companies in an open innovation model, but is challenging for both actors. From the point of view of the Brazilian public university, the present paper aims to present cases of technology transfer carried out by the Technology Transfer Office (TTO/UnB) of the University of Brasília taking into account the challenges faced during the process. The methodology used was qualitative, with a descriptive character, focused on 10 cases of licensing. A semi-structured interview and a SWOT Analysis ware carried out to portray the key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats identified throughout the process. At the end of the study, a diagnosis was elaborated followed by recommendations that will positively impact on future licensing flows and on the restructuring of the innovation policy of the University of Brasília.
