Desafío constructivo: una vivienda eficiente y sostenible

Abstract

We present a didactic strategy aimed at solving a current and real challenge that combines the sequences of a professional assignment with the academic rigour that an official Master's degree deserves. The general objective was that students could design a single-family house for private residential use with almost zero energy consumption and, at the same time, designed with sustainable construction systems and materials. The academic results were satisfactory, as proposals were presented with a high degree of achievement of the planned objective and most of the students obtained innovative solutions as a result of their research. As main conclusions, it can be inferred that proposing to the Master students a challenge adapted to the professional reality that they will have to develop after finishing their studies is an incentive to motivate research and the ideation of solutions. Se presenta una estrategia didáctica encaminada a resolver un desafío actual y real que combina secuencias de un encargo profesional con la rigurosidad académica que merece una titulación oficial de Máster. El objetivo general fue que los estudiantes consiguieran diseñar una vivienda unifamiliar con uso residencial privado que contara con un consumo energético casi nulo y que, al mismo tiempo, estuviera proyectada con sistemas constructivos y materiales sostenibles. Los resultados académicos fueron satisfactorios, pues se presentaron propuestas con un alto grado de adeucación al objetivo previsto y gran parte del estudiantado obtuvo soluciones innovadoras, fruto de sus investigaciones. Como conclusiones principales se infiere que el hecho de proponer al estudiantado de Máster un reto adaptado a la realidad profesional que van a tener que desarrollar tras finalizar sus estudios supone un aliciente para motivar la investigación y la ideación de soluciones.
