Abstract:The article focuses on the presence and visibility of Latin-American artists of the Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap), in Paris- France. It is the first and most perennial world initiative to create a state fund of works dedicated to “living art,” an initiative that began in the end of the eighteenth century and persists to this day.
