Neuroscience may be read as part of a historical search for an integrative and agentive centre. The prefrontal cortices, the dominant locus of the executive functions, which includes the control of cognitive processes and the regulation of self in the process of fulfilling intentions, is currently such a centre. This attribution is complexified through a deconstructive reading of texts by the neuropsychologist Elkhonon Goldberg. What emerge are dynamics that decentre attempts to determine a point from which agency may proceed. It is argued that the grounds for centric claims simultaneously undermine such ambitions.

Що означає «подія Дериди» для історико-філософського континууму? Напевно, передовсім спадає на думку термін «деконструкція», що асоціюється з безпреце-дентно ризикованими спробами критичного переосмислення метафізичного дискур-су. Від самого початку Дерида заявляє про себе як про яскравого новатора, чия програма філософської діяльності може бути підведена під Левінасову формулу «tout autrement» («зовсім інакше») . Проте з часом у текстах «філософа деконструкції» дедалі виразніше проступає мотив беззастережної відданості традиції, спонукаючи віднаходити його імпліцитну наявність уже в перших працях мислителя. Але які аспекти філософської традиції перебувають у центрі його уваги й якою є, власне, та традиція, що до неї -хоча й із численними обмовками та застереженнями -ми могли би віднести деконструкційне мислення? У цій статті я пропоную певний історико-філософський підхід до деридиянського концептуального спадку, згідно з яким концепція деконструкції постає однією з найригористичніших версій трансцендентальної філософії, поряд із такими визна-чальними трансцендентальними проектами, як Кантова критика й Гусерлева феноменологія. На тлі останніх філософія Жака Дериди виявляє себе як гіперболічне довершення трансцендентального мотиву. Історія питання й постановка проблемиАктуальність дослідження трансценденталістських аспектів філософії Дериди зумовлена передовсім історико-філософською необхідністю, яку я би визначила як «наведення мостів» між тими філософськими дискурсами, відмінність історичної позиції або епістемологічного фундаменту яких ускладнює можливість їхнього не лише поєднання, але навіть зіставлення.Трансцендентальна проблематика для історії філософії є не просто одним із бага-тьох можливих сюжетів, дослідницький інтерес до яких може спорадично спалаху-вати та згасати, потрапляючи в тінь більш актуальних (хай з якої причини) мислен-нєвих перспектив. Натомість конститутивна функція «трансцендентального мотиву» для історії західноєвропейської думки дійсно забезпечує сталу увагу істориків

As leader of the deconstruction movement, Jacques Derrida has had a profound effect on modern thinking. In this article, the author applies Derridean concepts to psychotherapy. Using the concepts of trace and differance, identity and therapeutic relationships are described. Transference and countertransference are regarded as traces, resulting in a breakdown of the therapist/patient dichotomy. Using the Derridean notion of "play" and "dissemination" opens psychotherapeutic options that allow the patient to explore how meaning is derived in his/her life. Questions of how feelings and behaviors are constructed are also examined. In summary, a deconstructive therapeutic approach results in an array of freedom and possibilities.
