Dermoscopic evaluation for skin grafts after surgery; neo-vascularization correlates with survival of skin grafts: A prospective study

Abstract: lead to false detection of homozygous BRAF mutations or wild-type genotype [10].Additional work is necessary to apply the information provided by CTCs to clinical practice. It is clear, however, that CTCs are an important indicator of the potential for poor prognosis, treatment response, and disease recurrence. We anticipate that this array system will improve clinicians' ability to diagnose and assess advanced tumor conditions.

“…Immunohistochemical analysis has only been conducted in mice. [3][4][5][6] Because of the ethical considerations of these types of experiments in humans, data analysis on blood flow resumption and skin graft survival of human skin grafts should be performed using non-invasive methods. To our knowledge, transcutaneous oxygen tension (TcPO 2 ), an index of blood flow, has not been evaluated in full-thickness human skin grafts or before postoperative (POD)14.…”

“…Furthermore, only a few studies have reported biologic monitoring data obtained by evaluating skin color tone and surface temperature. 5,6 In humans, these tests can be performed non-invasively. To evaluate human skin graft vascularization, we analyzed biomonitoring data after skin grafting surgery.…”
