“…Non‐pruritic to sometimes mildly pruritic alopecia associated with excessive scaling, erythema and crusting are common clinical signs found in dermatophytoses (Avni‐Magen and others 2008). Pruritus is not usually a clinical feature of dermatophyte infection in primates (Bagnall and Grünberg 1972, Smith and Mehren 1985, Avni‐Magen and others 2008).
