Dermatophytes in Cats without Dermatopathies in the Metropolitan Area of Florianópolis, Brazil

Abstract: Background: Dermatophytes are infectious agents responsible for dermatophytosis, an important worldwide zoonosis. Cats are considered potential hosts and reservoir of these fungi, especially Microsporum canis.
