Dermatophytes – Are they developing resistance to antifungal agents?

Abstract: Dermatophytosis is a common dermatological problem encountered in Dermatology outpatient department. It was described as ldquoBread and Butter of dermatologistrdquo. A decade earlier patients were coming for the treatment of Tinea cruris and Tinea corporis to a Dermatologist and a course of antifungal agents were bringing smile and satisfaction to the patient.
