Dermatology Resident Education for Skin of Color

Abstract: Skin diseases often present differently in patients with darker skin, and certain features such as erythema may be more difficult to recognize. Dermatology residents learn various skin disease presentations through pattern recognition seen in the clinical setting, in patient photographs, and through other educational resources.
