“…Compared with the neoplastic cells, the low degree of atypical features, represented primarily by mild anisokaryosis, fits the benign nature of reactive fibroblastic cells. Although fibroblasts have been reported to show varying degrees of cellular atypia, ranging from mild to marked 16 with marked atypia characterized by many nuclear and cytoplasmic criteria of malignancy (anisocytosis, anisokaryosis, multinucleation, prominent and multiple nucleoli, and increased mitotic figures), we saw fibroblasts with mild, moderate, and severe atypia in 16/25, 8/25, and 1/25 cases, respectively.…”

“…Future research should consider larger sample sizes and standardization of immunohistochemistry procedures to elucidate their diagnostic utility further. As proposed, the incorporation of sophisticated molecular methods could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the parasite's molecular profile, adding specificity to diagnostic processes (20). Undertaking multicenter studies would address the inherent limitations of single-center studies by incorporating diverse clinical settings and bolstering the generalizability of the results.…”
