Abstract:Diabetic foot infection poses a complex problem due to several interrelated issues, including rapidly spreading infection, poor vascular supply, and reduced healing ability. Management may require multiple operative procedures and prolonged treatment with a high risk of morbidity, such as amputation, and mortality.
