Der Zerfall des W183m

Abstract: Tb lsSm was produced from Tb ls9 by (n, 2n) reaction and investigated using scintillation spectrometers. The following results were obtained: half-life T~=(10.5_+0.2) sec; energy of the isomeric transition E~=(109.9_+l.5)keV; conversion coefficients CTK=56__3; CtL+CtM-t-.... 50-t-8; Cttotal= 106-+ 10; K/L-ratio K/L= 1.3• yielding the multipole order of the isomeric transition to be M3. Upper limits for the direct beta transitions from the isomeric state to the ground states of the neighbouring even-even nuclei… Show more

“…Schmidt-Ott et a/. 33 have reported a 210-keV (ES) y ray competing with the 102.5-keV (if 2) y ray with an intensity of 3.5% of the total isomeric decay. The parity of the 309.5-keV state is certainly positive; the spin is either f 32 or 11/2.…”

“…The parity of the 309.5-keV state is certainly positive; the spin is either f 32 or 11/2. 33 In the present experiment, the excited states of W 183 {N-109) were investigated with sources of 68-day Re 183 . The electron intensity data compiled in Table XVIII are sufficiently improved to allow further comparison with theoretical predictions of M1/E2 mixing ratios.…”
