Der Humor in Heinrich Spoerls Roman „Der Maulkorb“ Eine analytisch- kritische Studie

Abstract

The famous german scholar Erich Kästner wasn't satisfied with the seriousness in the german literature. He said that the german literature is one-eyed. For example, it cores for tragedies, so it lacks comedy. Kästner said about this Point that the german literature has only six comic works but Eberhard Hermes sees that it has only four. Consequently, I did my best in this research to tackling the topic of humor in the modern german literature. Furthermore, the research focuses mainly on the most famous humor scholars in the german literature "Heinrich Spoerl" through his known novel called "The muzzle" 1936.
