Abstract: The giowth of germlings fröm carpospores of the red alga Gracilaria confervoides (L.) Grev. shows a clcar dependcncc on the temperature which is represented by the equation y = -14.8 + 7.2x -0-17x 2 . The tcmpcrature Optimum lies at2U°C.
