Abstract:This research aims to perform the geochronology of surface coverings in low Holocene marine, fl uvial-marine, and fl uvial terraces, associating the genesis of paleo-forms with the occurrence of Holocene climatic pulsations, the consequential switches between hot-dry/hot-wet continental phases, and the retrograde and prograde movements of the oceanic coast due to eustatic sea-level fl uctuations. At the same time, it aims to verify and correlate specifi c hydrodynamic energy conditions during past depositional events, responsible for preparing the levels of low fl uvial, fl uvial-marine, and marine terraces to the south of the Araranguá river (SC). The methodology was based in absolute dating through Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) in quartz grains of the surface coverings of these low terraces and in granulometric tests with later data plotting and verifi cation of sediment types, textural classes, and the respective paleo-hydrodynamic energy conditions, classifi ed based on the textural diagram of Flemming (2000). Results of geochronological reconstruction corresponded to climatic events of switches between hot-dry/hot-wet environments and to global cooling periods identifi ed by Bond et al. (1997Bond et al. ( , 2001 and Wanner et al. (2011). Three Holocene climatic pulsations were identifi ed, which were determinant for the superfi cial organization of the landscape in the lower course of the Araranguá river and the oceanic plain of the Araranguá River Basin: Climatic pulsation I (6.000 ± 820 to 5.000 ± 620 Paulo, v.19, n.3 (Jul-Set) p.635-663, 2018 Years B.P.), climatic pulsation II (2.700 ± 420 to 2.250 ± 300 Years B.P.) and climatic pulsation III (420 ± 65 to 215 ± 25 Years B.P.). The application of results in the textural diagram of Flemming (2000) allowed the diff erentiation of sedimentation environments, which were correlated with varied hydrodynamic energy regimes. Surface coverings of the low fl uvial terrace (GS-I) and the alluvial materials of the low fl uvial-marine terrace (GS-II) presented the highest mud content among all samples, which was correlated with moderate and moderate-to-high hydrodynamic energy transport fl ows. On the other hand, surface coverings of marine terraces (GS-III and GS-IV) and the marine sandy materials underlying alluvial deposits of the fl uvial-marine terrace showed low levels of mud and high levels of sand, representing high-and very high-intensity hydrodynamic energy fl ows. RESUMORelata-se a experiência de projeto denominado "Educação Ambiental da comunidade do entorno dos Parques Nacionais de Aparados da Serra e da Serra Geral", que objetivou contribuir para a conscientização da comunidade regional sobre a importância da preservação dos patrimônios natural, histórico e cultural do entorno dos PARNAS. O projeto foi realizado em oito municípios, através de visitas técnicas, palestras, estudos de campo, oficinas, apresentações teatrais e apresentações em seminários e eventos científicos. Das dez ações programadas oito foram concluídas, atingiu-se um público total de 471 pessoas, sendo 218 pessoas atingidas com as atividades previstas no projeto e 253 pessoas com atividades não previstas. Destaca-se o aspecto pioneiro da iniciativa, bem como a articulação de diversos setores sociais em ações em prol da preservação ambiental.Palavras-chaves: Educação Ambiental, Turismo Sustentável, Ecoturismo.

Este texto discute como a violência do capital é objetivada na televisão em geral e na série televisiva da Netflix O Mecanismo, de José Padilha. O autor/diretor, ao estabelecer n’O Mecanismo a corrupção como o “câncer” da sociedade capitalista, deliberadamente elege algo da ordem do subjetivo, da moral, como causa das condições desiguais da sociedade do capital, deslocando intencionalmente ou não as determinações sociais objetivas para o plano subjetivo. Problematiza também as relações contraditórias entre as relações sociais de produção e as forças produtivas na arte e na indústria cultural, fundamentando-se nas contribuições teóricas de Marx, Adorno e Horkheimer. Ademais, postula que a televisão brasileira, imbricada com o capitalismo tardio, é um objeto cujo procedimento de razão atua não apenas na esfera da reprodução da cultura, mas, fundamentalmente, na sua produção pela via da formação do público. Nesse sentido, discute os limites e as possibilidades dos processos formativos e educativos da televisão.
