Akosua has a strong background in research, community development, gender, children, elderly care, adult education and other related issues. She has over 30 years working experience at different stages of her career. She has lectured and presented papers in Ghana and other foreign countries in Africa, Europe and America. Contributors Aleš Kenda works as a secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the Republic of Slovenia. He has devoted nearly two decades of work to a wide variety of topics related to population aging, participating in the preparation and implementation of the latest two strategies on responses to demographic change. In 2012, he was the National Coordinator of the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. Mr. Kenda is also a member of the Standing Working Group on Ageing at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Geneva.
