Dental implications of some commonly prescribed medicines

Abstract: Several medicines can have an impact on oral health or have implications for dental treatment. It is important that general dental practitioners review the medicines that their patients are taking and consider their potential impact. In this article we highlight some of the medicines or groups of medicines that can affect dental treatment and oral health.
