Abstract:Density and the speed of sound were measured in various carbon dioxide + n-docosane mixtures with CO 2 mole fractions ranging from 0 to 0.84. Measurements were performed along two isotherms: 333.15 and 343.15 K from 10 to 70 MPa. Based on these measurements, the related isothermal and isentropic compressibilities were obtained. In addition, excess volumetric and acoustic properties were calculated across the same p,T range and represented as a function of CO 2 content.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
