Density Correction for Geophysical Well Logging Inside Drilling Rods

Abstract: ABSTRACT. This paper brings the results of the application of a casing correction applied to density logging inside drill rods using a 137 Cs source intended to iron ore exploration. A set of runs was performed in a double logging in the same hole, both with and without drilling rods. The recovered density showed above 94% of adherence with the open hole measured density in valid intervals.
