Densities and apparent molar volumes for aqueous solutions of HNO3−UO2(NO3)2 at 298.15 K

Abstract: In order to obtain the exact information of atomic number density in the ternary system of HNO3-UO2(NO3)z-H20, the densities were measured with an Anton-Paar DMA60/602 digital density meter thermostated at 298.15+0.01 K. The apparent molal volumes for the systems were calculated from the experimental data. The present measured apparent molar volumes have been fitted to the Pitzer ion-interaction model, which provides an adequate representation of the experimental data for mixed aqueous electrolyte solutions up… Show more

“…The apparatus, the mixture standard sample preparation, and the procedure of density measurements have been described elsewhere. 15,16 The density F of the binary solutions was used to calculate the excess molar volume V E , according to where x i is the mole fraction, M i is the molar mass, and F i is the density of component i.…”

“…For replacing metals in automotive fuel tank, metal cans, large industrial container and house hold fuel tanks is also likely to support HDPE and LDPE demand in the coming years [1,2,4]. Some authors were studied the change in mechanical properties of R-polyethylene after exposure to artificial weathering [5][6][7][8][9][10]. Others were proposed a mathematical model to predict the behavior of Thermo-mechanical properties of LDPE [11].…”
