A green approach for imparting multifunctional properties namely antibacterial, anti property to indigo dyed cotton denim fabrics using environmentally benign finishing, hos investigated. In the current work, pre-loading of MCT formaldehyde-free cross linking system using pad agents namely Clove oil, Lavender oil, Tulsi oil and functional properties. The obtained results demonstrated that the variation in the efficacy and durability of the imparted functional properties is governed by extent of loading the modified βCD, number and availability of hydrophobic hosting cavities, type and chemical constituents of the guest molecule and its extent of inclusion into the created cavities via form of host-guest complex, as well as its retention or release during the washing process. The remarkable improvement in antibacterial activity against the pathogenic bacteria followed the decreasing order: Tulsi The obtained results also demonstrated that, the imparted anti descending order: Vanillin>Tulsi>Clove>Lavender>>None. The imparted functional properties showed a high durability even after 15 washes.

ischarge printing: is a type of printing in which the ink is applied to a previously colored cloth, often known as the 'ground' shade. The dyes used for the ground shade must be carefully chosen such that when a proper print paste is applied, the dyed cloth is permanently decolored locally, resulting in a 'white' discharge patterning look. Discharge printing produces vivid, opaque graphics on dark textiles while maintaining a delicate feel. The patterns on the cloth are created by the chemical degradation of the original dye in the printed sections in the discharge technique. With these factors in mind, the current study attempted to optimize the discharge printing recipe by adjusting the dye and discharging agent concentrations. of dye and discharging agent, for denim cotton fabric dyed with eco-friendly reactive dye and to assess the physical and color fastness properties of printed samples.

Los avances tecnológicos en la ciencia de los materiales han impactado en diferentes áreas del conocimiento como la medicina, los alimentos, los cosméticos, dispositivos electrónicos, entre otros, con el propósito de aprovechar las propiedades de las nanopartículas y resolver problemáticas actuales en beneficio de la sociedad. En esta revisión se presenta una descripción general y actualizada de las aplicaciones de las nanopartículas en diferentes áreas del conocimiento. Se muestra la importancia de los avances nanotecnológicos actuales para combatir diferentes bacterias patógenas, el virus SARS-CoV-2 y tratamientos de enfermedades cancerígenas con nanopartículas. Por otra parte, se discute brevemente la importancia de las nanopartículas en la industria textil, automotriz y agroindustria como alternativa para obtener telas inteligentes, mejoramiento de estética en carros, durabilidad de partes y disminución de contaminantes por CO2, así como en la producción de alimentos seguros, de alta calidad y sostenibles.
