Abstract: Common understandings of creativity reduce it to a flash of insight or to a personal characteristic of a highly-gifted person. This paper develops an alternative way of understanding creativity departing from a series of interviews with local painters by conceptualizing creativity as a process of articulating and getting caught up in a “meshwork” of materials, places, spaces and social encounters. Using assemblage theoretical framework, my perspective examines how different elements (both human and non-human) … Show more

“…Contrary to Enderle (2018), such value as tolerance and equality do not automatically follow from the concept of liberalism. Again, once again we confront the matter of limits, including the limits of freedom in respect of the "Other" (Lé vinas, 1979). However, the question is what about the "Other" for a businessperson.…”

“…Despite one of the happiness factors being generosity in order to compensate for the inequalities, it also demonstrates the supremacy of generous (wo)man. Some scholars (Musgrave, 1958;Samuelson, 1954;Samuelson, 1955) regard "Public goods" as non-exclusivity and nonrivalry, in which case business ethics should appeal to public goods in order to soften the inherent rivalry in business. This may be diffi cult in view of the fact that the development of business is based on exclusivity and rivalry.…”

“…MerleauPonty (1971). 11 Po to, kai Kopernikas "prisiminė" Aristarcho Samiečio heliocentrinę sistemą, daugybė astronomų vadovavosi geocentrine sistema dar beveik pusantro šimto metų.

Within philosophy, aesthetics looks for possible criteria for creativity in art (Furst et al, 2012;Juzefovič, 2015;Vabalaite, 2017;Zolfani et al, 2017;Piskunova et al, 2018;Manta, 2018). Beside this, critical thinking has been treated as an aspect of creativity (Yi, 2018).…”
