Abstract: A technique was described whereby the pancreatic duct is cannulated in conscious human subjects using fibreoptic endoscopy (endoscopic retrograde pancreatography). Preliminary findings were shown relating aspects of pancreatic exocrine function to intraduodenal perfusion of graduated amounts of hydrochloric acid (0.1 N). At the end of each test the duct and gland are opacified by radio-opaque dye. The radiographs obtained permit correlation of structure with function.Micturition in the male cat (Film)
