Demonstration of 800-Gbit/s/carrier TPS-64QAM WDM Transmission over 2,000 km Using MIMO Volterra Equalization

Abstract: We experimentally demonstrated a 125-GHz-grid WDM coherent transmission over 2,000-km Raman amplified ULAF with 800-Gbit/s/carrier net-bit-rate based on 100-Gbaud truncated PS-64QAM. Our results show that the MIMO-VNLE outperforms the SISO-VNLE by around 67% reach improvement.
