Demodicosis With Ticks Infestation and Babesiosis in a Mixed Dog

Abstract: Demodicosis is a skin disease that often affects dogs caused by Demodex sp. Babesiosis is a parasitic disease in the erythrocytes that attacks dogs caused by Babesia sp. This paper discusses cases of demodicosis with ticks infestation and babesiosis in a dog. A 6-year-old Shih tzu and local mixed-breed male dog named Dede has skin problems such as hair loss and itching.
