Delivery of the gall bladder after laparoscopic cholecystectomy using a condom

Abstract: Gall bladder retrieval through a port site is often associated with wound contamination and the loss of stones. The use of a condom as a protective sheath for the gall bladder prevents spillage and infection and aids retrieval.
