Abstract: Endometriosis affects women in reproductive age and can involve bowel in 6-12 % of the patients. In case of bowel occlusion or deep pain, radical laparoscopic endometriosic surgery associated with bowel resection is recommended. The purpose of this study was to analyze the conception rate, the obstetric complications, and the pregnancy outcome. This is a retrospective study; we investigated 51 patients with deep endometriosis who underwent surgical treatment with bowel resection during the period between 2000 … Show more

“…Some earlier papers show that planned Caesarean section can reduce the rate of urinary incontinence but can be a cause of maternal complications including bladder injuries 24 . The low rate of Caesarean section may reduce the importance of this confounder but, at the same time, reduce the use of results in populations with higher rate of Caesarean section 25 . Similar results reported other studies 3,26 but none of them described mutual risk factors for postpartum urinary incontinence and depression.…”

“…As our sample size for this subsample analysis was relatively low, future studies with a larger sample size should include a more elaborate measure of the subjective or objective impact of the storm, such as Project Ice Storm [39] managed, and the duration of impact. In addition, we did not investigated the role of pregnancy diseases such as endometriosis, preeclampsia, and intrauterine growth restriction, which may affect both reported stress and placenta epigenetics [16,[110][111][112][113]. The restriction of our analyses on placentas from healthy pregnancies may have constrained variances in the stress impacts and placental gene expression.…”
