Delineamento Epidemiológico Dos Nascidos Vivos Em Tefé, Amazonas, No Período De 2006 a 2012

Umuarama, v. 20, n. 2, p, 99-104, maio/ago. 2017. RESUMO:O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever as características epidemiológicas dos nascidos vivos em um município no interior do Amazonas. Realizou-se um estudo de corte transversal de caráter quantitativo e descritivo no município de Tefé no período de 2006 a 2012. Os dados dos nascidos vivos foram obtidos pela secretaria municipal de saúde, no departamento de vigilância epidemiológica no banco de dados do Sistema de Informações Sobre Nascidos Vivos (SISNAC). As variáveis utilizadas foram: características sociodemográficas, condições da gestação, parto e características dos nascidos vivos divididos em três eixos (maternas; pré-natal e recém-nascido). A partir dos resultados apresentados pôde-se evidenciar alto percentual de mães adolescentes, acompanhamento pré-natal insuficiente, baixa escolaridade e preenchimento inadequado do Apgar. Diante desses resultados, observou-se que o perfil epidemiológico dos nascidos vivos do município de Tefé distingue-se de outras regiões do país, sendo imprescindível que o município aperfeiçoe a rede de atenção básica e, consequentemente, aprimore a assistência e a formulação de políticas públicas materno-infantil. EPIDEMIOLOGICAL DESIGN OF LIVE BIRTHS IN TEFÉ, AMAZONAS, FROM 2006 TO 2012ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiological characteristics of live births in a city in the countryside of the state of Amazonas. A cross-sectional, quantitative and descriptive study was carried out in the municipality of Tefé from 2006 to 2012. The data on live births were obtained by the municipal health department from the epidemiological surveillance department, at the Live Birth Information System (SISNAC) database. The variables analyzed were: socio-demographic characteristics, gestational conditions, childbirth and characteristics of live births divided into three fronts (maternal, prenatal and newborn). The results evidenced a high percentage of teenage mothers, insufficient prenatal care, a low level of education and inadequate filling of Apgar. The results revealed that the epidemiological profile of the live births in Tefé is different from other regions in Brazil, and it is imperative that the municipality improves the basic care network and, as a result, improves the formulation of policies to support both maternal and children health.

Reproductive behavior of women from a rural community in Tefé, Amazonas, Brazil
